Online Quran classes in Sugar Land and Katy

Families in Sugar Land and Katy can take a live Quran class, one student and one teacher, for 30 minutes, on Central Time. Classes run Monday to Friday, and weekend classes are available. You can ask for a male or female teacher. The first 3 meetings cost nothing, and the form does not ask for a card.

Two cities, one clock, a long ride home

Sugar Land is in Fort Bend County, southwest of downtown Houston, where Interstate 69 / US-59 meets Texas Highway 6. Katy is west of downtown Houston on Interstate 10, where Harris, Fort Bend, and Waller counties meet. Both cities stay on Central Time all year. The useful question is not whether an online class exists here. It is whether 30 minutes can start after you are actually home, once I-10 or US-59 has had its say.

The zone rules, including counties in Texas that are not on this clock, live on the Central Time page. The short map of all four zones is the class-times hub. This page is the local afternoon. North of Dallas: Quran classes in Plano and Frisco. Same Central hour, different week: Quran classes in Chicago.

Quran classes after the freeway

Fort Bend ISD and Katy ISD do not dismiss every grade at one minute, and a bell is not the moment a child walks into the kitchen. Elementary, middle, and high school let out at different times. Then comes the car line, and then the freeway. US-59 through Sugar Land and I-10 through Katy are slow when school lets out and slow again when shifts end. A class set for the dismissal minute is a class in the car.

Open the calendar for the district that teaches your child, then add the drive you actually have. Fort Bend ISD posts its calendar. Katy ISD posts its calendar. Much of Sugar Land is Fort Bend ISD. Much of the Katy area is Katy ISD. A Fort Bend address can still be Lamar CISD, and plenty of people who say "Katy" live in another district. Write the minute you are in the door. We will not replace it with a guess for the whole metro.

Local ask Central time Why it comes up here
After the coat is off Late afternoon Only if the freeway usually lets you in the house by then
After I-10 or US-59 eases Evening A shift, a practice, or a commute that misses the school rush
Before the day heats up Weekend morning Saturday or Sunday, while errands and tournaments are still later
School is out Morning Summer has no dismissal, and late afternoon is the hot hour

Heat and summer break

A Gulf Coast summer is hot and long. The 2026–27 calendars Fort Bend ISD and Katy ISD posted run from August into late May. That is a lot of weeks with no bell. An April habit of "class after pickup" does not survive July. Late afternoon is when the heat has been sitting on the driveway. A morning class, while school is out, is the slot people keep. When August starts again, move it back and read the new calendar before you promise the first week.

One call, not a room in town

The teacher is on the screen. There is no Sugar Land office and no Katy office, and the class is not in person. The mailing address for Quran Class USA is in Cincinnati. You do not go there for a lesson. You choose Female, Male, or Either. The choice is the teacher on that one call.

If you need a yes or no about a parent in the room, or about the camera, ask before you send the form. Email info@quranclassusa.com or call or text +1 (380) 206-9388. We will answer for the teacher you are requesting. We will not invent that rule on this page.

Little kids who are done with the freeway

Elementary dismissal in Fort Bend ISD and Katy ISD is earlier than the high-school bell, and the car line plus US-59 or I-10 still sits on top of it. A four- to seven-year-old who just made it into a Sugar Land or Katy house does not need another ride to a Quran room. The half hour can start at that table. Quran classes for kids is that shorter sitting: one child, one of our teachers, a parent close enough to hand over a pencil. Put one of the three opening meetings on a day the freeway is actually slow. What happens in a free trial Quran class is the first live half hour, and the form does not take a card.

After US-59 or I-10

Heat and those two freeways push many households to a morning while school is out, then back to after pickup once August returns. A child near four to seven can read classes for ages 4 to 7 and start in Noorani Qaida. After the letters feel familiar, that sitting turns to Tajweed. Hifz review has to finish inside the same half hour. The person you asked for, woman or man, is drawn from our teachers. If this lesson is for you, see classes for sisters. Weekday or weekend morning, those opening meetings are not billed.

Three classes before any payment

The trial is three live meetings on days you can keep. You owe nothing for them, and no card is taken. Use them to see whether the time survives a real week of US-59 or I-10, and whether the teacher you picked is the one you will stay with. If you stop, you stop. If you continue, you pay with Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or card. The month is 20 classes, Monday to Friday, with weekend classes available. Payment starts only after those three.

Questions from Sugar Land and Katy

Are Sugar Land and Katy on Central Time?

Yes. Both are on Central Time, including daylight saving time. A 5:00 p.m. class means 5:00 p.m. on a phone set to Central Time. El Paso is Mountain; these two cities are not. The November and March clock changes are explained on the Central Time page.

Is there a classroom in Sugar Land or Katy we drive to?

No. The class is live and online, one student and one teacher. There is no Sugar Land classroom and no Katy classroom. The mailing address on this site is in Cincinnati. It is not a place you attend.

Whose school calendar should I trust?

The district that has your child. Much of Sugar Land is Fort Bend ISD. Much of the Katy area is Katy ISD. A Fort Bend address can still be Lamar CISD, and a Katy-area address can be another district. Open that district's calendar. Do not borrow a neighbor's dismissal.

What if I-10 or US-59 makes us late every day?

Book the time you are in the house, not the bell. If the freeway regularly adds a long delay, say so on the form. An evening slot after the worst of the commute, or a weekend morning, is more honest than a 3:30 class you attend from the passenger seat.

What happens to the time in the summer?

The after-school logic stops when school stops. Late afternoon is the hot part of a Gulf Coast day, and a lot of camps and practices move earlier. Use a morning while school is out, then put the slot back after dismissal in August. Check the new year's calendar before you assume the first day.

Can a parent sit in, and does the camera have to stay on?

Ask before you book. Email info@quranclassusa.com or call or text +1 (380) 206-9388 and say what you need. We will tell you what that teacher can do. This page does not publish a camera rule or a sitting-in rule.

How do I pay?

After the free 3-day trial, if you decide to continue, pay with Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or card via Stripe. Nothing is due during the trial, and no card is required to start.
