Online Quran classes on Eastern Time, after school and in the evening

Yes. Kids and adults on Eastern Time can take live one-on-one Quran classes, 30 minutes each, in the late afternoon, the evening, or a short window before school. Classes run Monday to Friday, and weekend classes are available. Your first 3 days are free, and you can choose a qualified male or female teacher.

Eastern Time is the busiest clock we hear about, because the school day and the commute stack up in the same two hours. A class that looks fine at "5 p.m." on a generic website can collide with pickup, a snack, and a sibling's practice. This page is the Eastern schedule, written the way a parent actually plans a Tuesday.

Windows families on this clock usually ask for

These are request windows, not a list of seats we claim are open right now. When you send the trial form, a person confirms one standing time inside the window you pick. Each class is one-on-one and 30 minutes. Classes run Monday to Friday, weekend classes are available, and the paid plan is 20 classes a month.

Window Eastern clock Who it usually fits
Before the bus 6:30–7:30 a.m. An older child who is already up, or a parent who wants the evening free
After dismissal 3:30–5:30 p.m. Elementary students once they are home and have eaten
After dinner 6:30–8:30 p.m. Teens with practice, and adults who are off work
Saturday morning 9:00–11:30 a.m. Families who need a weekend day inside the five-day plan

If Saturday is the day you need, read weekend Quran classes before you lock a weekday grid. The weekend page is about sports and masjid school, not about the 3:30 p.m. rush described here.

A sample week for a third grader

Picture a child whose school lets out a little after 3. Monday through Thursday the class sits at 4:00 p.m., after a snack and before homework spreads across the table. Friday moves to 4:30 because an aunt picks up that day. The fifth class is Sunday at 10:00 a.m., so Friday night stays free. That is still five days. It is also a pattern you can say out loud to a teacher.

The mistake we see is booking 3:15 because the bell is 3:10. The child is not in the chair at 3:15. Build in the ride home. If dismissal is 3:25 and the drive is 20 minutes, the first honest minute is about 4:00.

Early morning, only if the house can keep it

"Before school" gets searched because evenings are full. A 6:45 a.m. class can work for a fourth grader who eats breakfast at 6:15 and catches a bus at 7:40. It fails when the class becomes the alarm clock. Use the trial to test three mornings before you put a whole month on that plan. If two of the three mornings slip, move the standing time to after school. There is no prize for a heroic schedule nobody keeps.

States that spend most of the year on this clock

Most families in these states set their phones to Eastern Time. A few states are split, and the split matters more than the state name on a form.

Indiana is mostly Eastern, but several northwest and southwest counties stay on Central Time. Kentucky's eastern and central communities, including the larger cities, are Eastern; the western end of the state is Central. Florida's peninsula is Eastern; the panhandle west of the Apalachicola River is Central. If you live near one of those lines, trust the phone's clock, not the state label, and say so in the note.

Michigan is entirely Eastern, including Dearborn. If you want the local school and community notes, use the Dearborn page. Ohio, Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New England, and the rest of the list above share this same clock even when the school calendars do not.

The two clock changes that hit an Eastern evening

The United States moves clocks on the second Sunday in March and the first Sunday in November. In this school year that means Sunday, November 1, 2026, when Eastern Daylight Time ends, and Sunday, March 14, 2027, when it starts again. A 7:00 p.m. class stays 7:00 p.m. by the clock. What changes is daylight. After the fall change, a 5:00 p.m. class that used to finish in light finishes in the dark, which matters if you are still in the car line. After the spring change, a 6:45 a.m. class is suddenly darker again. We do not silently move your slot an hour. If you want a new time, say so that week.

Male or female teachers, and a parent in the room

Choose a qualified male or female teacher on the form. Either choice is the same price. Classes stay one-on-one and 30 minutes. For a younger child, put the laptop on the kitchen table and sit where you can hear. You are not expected to teach the lesson. You are there so the child is not alone on a call.

Eastern Time does not change the price

$45/month on the monthly plan, $40/month on the 6-month plan ($240), or $35/month on the yearly plan ($420). Each is 20 one-on-one 30-minute classes a month, Monday to Friday, with weekend classes available. Start with a free 3-day trial. No payment and no card are required. You pay only if you decide to continue.

Questions families ask

What does after school mean on Eastern Time?

For most families it means a 30-minute class sometime between about 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Eastern, after dismissal and before dinner. Tell us the real pickup time and we will not guess it.

Can a child take a class before the bus?

Yes, if the house is actually awake. A common ask is 6:30 to 7:15 a.m. Eastern. It only works when bedtime the night before is steady. If mornings are chaos, use the after-school window instead.

What happens to a 7 p.m. class when the clocks fall back?

In 2026, Eastern Time falls back on Sunday, November 1. A class that was 7 p.m. daylight time is still 7 p.m. on the clock afterward, but the evening is darker and dinner moves. We keep the clock time you agreed unless you ask to shift it.

Is Dearborn on this page's clock?

Yes. Dearborn, Michigan uses Eastern Time. The local page adds school-district and community context. The hours on this page are the ones to start from.

Tell us your Eastern Time window

Tell us your state, the students' ages, and the days that fit your week. No card is required for the 3 free classes. If you would rather message first, WhatsApp is the second option.
