Online Quran classes in Columbus

Families in Columbus, and in nearby suburbs such as Dublin, Hilliard, and Westerville, can take a live Quran class for 30 minutes on Eastern Time. A single student is on the call with one teacher. Weekdays are what most people ask for, and a Saturday or Sunday is open when the outerbelt week is already used up. Choose a male or female teacher. The opening three meetings are free. Nothing is paid, and no card is collected.

Franklin County, and the lines the suburbs cross

Columbus is in Franklin County. Most of the city is. City building pages also point people to the Delaware County auditor and the Fairfield County auditor, because the city limits reach those counties too. The hour does not change when the county does. All of Ohio stays on Eastern Time, including the daylight-saving Sundays.

The suburbs are where the county line actually matters for the form. The City of Dublin's 2026 tax guide says the city boundaries are in three counties: Franklin, Delaware, and Union. Westerville sits in Franklin County and Delaware County, and the city publishes phone lines for both. Hilliard is in Franklin County. Write the town on the mailbox and the county if you know it. We need the minute you are in the door more than we need a guess about the line.

Daylight-saving rules for this clock are on the Eastern Time page. The four zones are on the class-times hub. This page is the Columbus outerbelt. Nearby notes: Quran classes in Dearborn, Quran classes in Paterson, Quran classes in North Carolina, Quran classes in New York City, Quran classes in Jersey City, and Quran classes in Edison.

Quran classes after the outerbelt

I-270 is the loop around Columbus. City and state papers call it the Outerbelt. It is slow when school lets out and slow again when shifts end. I-70 crosses the area east and west and meets that loop on the west side, toward Hilliard, and again on the east side. I-71 runs north and south through the city and meets the outerbelt on the north side, the Westerville side of the loop, and on the south side too.

SR-315 is the freeway along the Olentangy River. It meets I-270 on the north side of the loop. US-33 meets the same loop in Dublin, which is why a northwest afternoon often includes both the freeway and the belt. A class set for the dismissal chime is a class set for a ramp. Add the loop you actually drive.

Columbus City Schools does not let every grade out together, and it does not run one calendar. The district posts a traditional calendar and a year-round calendar. Use the file for your child's building. Dublin City Schools, Hilliard City Schools, and Westerville City Schools each post their own year. The 2026–27 files those three suburban districts published do not open on the same morning. A Dublin address is not automatically Dublin City Schools: the city's tax guide lists Hilliard City Schools and another district inside the city limits as well. Hilliard City Schools publishes its office with a Columbus street address, so the post office city is the wrong clue. Open the calendar named on the report card.

Road Where it clogs How to place the half hour
I-270 The Outerbelt at pickup and at quitting time Begin once you are inside, not at the exit
I-70 East-west, including the Hilliard side A west-side evening is later than a downtown bell
I-71 North-south, including the Westerville merge The north outerbelt can swallow the first minutes
SR-315 Along the Olentangy toward I-270 Count from the driveway, not from the ramp
US-33 Through Dublin onto the loop A Dublin slot waits on this road, then on 270

Snow delays, and a long summer

A central Ohio winter closes a campus or calls a delay, and it slows I-270 and I-70. Our half hour does not depend on a school building of ours, because we do not have one in Columbus. If the student is home and the call connects, keep the time. If the driveway is why the laptop stays shut, say so and shift that morning. We would rather move one snow day than pretend the outerbelt was clear.

Summer pulls the other way. Afternoons get hot, and a 4:25 p.m. habit from April assumes a child who just came in from outside. While school is out, a morning is the slot people keep. When the calendars start the year again, move the class and read that year's file first. We will not invent one opening morning for the whole metro.

Cincinnati is mail, not a classroom

You do not drive to a room in Columbus, Dublin, Hilliard, or Westerville for this class. There is no local office and no in-person lesson. The mailing address published for Quran Class USA is in Cincinnati. Cincinnati is in Ohio, on this same Eastern clock, and it is still only a mailbox. You do not attend there. The teacher is the person on the video call. Choose a woman or a man. That choice is the class.

A small child who is already home

Little children in Franklin County can start without a second trip around the belt. Once they are inside, the lesson is a video call, not a hall they have to reach. Quran classes for kids covers ages about four to seven in that house: one child with one of our teachers, and you nearby if they need a familiar face.

I-270 is why some households stop adding a second program across town. Online or local Quran classes leaves both open: a hall you can still reach, a call once you are off the loop, or the two on different days when one hour is not enough. How to choose online Quran classes for kids is the part about the call itself, for a child who is already inside and does not need another ranking of academies.

What fits after the drive

The half hour starts when you are off the loop, not when the bell rings. A child new to the script begins in Noorani Qaida. Someone who reads already practices one Tajweed point. Memorization is its own review of the portion already learned, especially if a sibling is also studying. Ask our teachers for a man or a woman. You pay nothing for the first three meetings. A weekday after you are inside is the usual plan, and a weekend morning works when the belt took the evening. A woman booking for herself can read classes for sisters.

A parent in the room, or a camera kept off or on, is a question to settle before the form goes out. Write info@quranclassusa.com, or call or text +1 (380) 206-9388, and we will answer for that teacher.

The three meetings come before any bill

The first three meetings are the test. No card is requested, and those meetings carry no charge. See whether 4:25 p.m. still works once I-270 has had its say, and whether the teacher matches the request. You can stop there. If you stay, pay with Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or card, for 20 classes across the month, weekdays and weekend days included. The bill starts only after that trial.

Questions from Columbus and the nearby suburbs

Are Columbus, Dublin, Hilliard, and Westerville on Eastern Time?

Yes. All of Ohio uses Eastern Time, including Franklin County and the counties those suburbs cross. A 4:25 p.m. class is 4:25 p.m. on the kitchen phone in Columbus, Dublin, Hilliard, or Westerville. The March and November clock changes are on the Eastern Time page.

Which county is this address in?

Columbus is mostly Franklin County, with city land that reaches Delaware County and Fairfield County. Dublin's own tax guide says the city limits sit in Franklin, Delaware, and Union counties. Westerville sits in Franklin County and Delaware County. Hilliard is in Franklin County. The county does not change the hour. It does change which auditor and which ballot you get. Write the city you live in and the minute you are home.

Columbus City Schools, or a suburban district?

Use the name on the report card. Columbus City Schools is the city district, and it posts both a traditional calendar and a year-round calendar. Dublin City Schools, Hilliard City Schools, and Westerville City Schools are separate. A Dublin address can still be Hilliard City Schools or another district. A Columbus mailing city is not a promise of Columbus City Schools.

Do we drive to a classroom in Columbus or Cincinnati?

No. The lesson is a live video call, one student and one teacher. There is no Columbus office and no in-person class. The mailing address on this site is in Cincinnati, which is also in Ohio. That address is mail only. It is not a campus, and you do not go there for a lesson.

What if snow delays school?

Central Ohio winters delay campuses and slow the outerbelt. The call does not need the school building to be open. If the student is home and the laptop works, keep the half hour. If the street is the problem, tell us and move that day.

Can a parent be nearby, and does the camera stay on?

Ask us before you send the form. Email info@quranclassusa.com or call or text +1 (380) 206-9388 and describe the setup you want. We will say what that teacher can do. We are not printing a camera rule or a sitting-nearby rule on this page.

How do I pay?

After the free 3-day trial, if you decide to continue, pay with Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or card via Stripe. Nothing is due during the trial, and no card is required to start.
