How to choose online Quran classes for kids

Quran Class USA ยท October 15, 2026

A parent comparing Quran classes for a child usually has a few tabs open and a pickup coming. The useful checks are small. Who is on the call. Whether the first classes cost anything. Whether the clock is a time you are home. Whether the book matches a child who cannot yet join letters.

One teacher, and which one

The class should be one child and one teacher for 30 minutes. A group on a screen is a different product, even if the page says "live." Ask whether you can choose a man or a woman from our teachers. On this site that choice does not add a fee.

If the teacher changes every week and nobody asked you, you will not know why your child went quiet. A familiar face is part of the lesson for a young child. Quran classes for kids about four to seven describes what that half hour feels like when attention is short. Read it before you decide the class is too babyish or too fast.

Brothers and sisters do not share one slot. Sharing means one child waits and the shy one hides. Book them back to back if one laptop has to serve both, and put every age on the form.

The trial should not take a card

Three live meetings are enough to learn whether a six-year-old will talk. They are not enough to finish a book, and a page that promises a finish date inside the trial is selling the trial. Here the first 3 days are free. The free trial form does not ask for a card. You pay only if you decide to continue.

A company that needs a card "to hold the seat" is asking you to pay before you have heard the teacher. Walk away from that, including from us if a form ever did it. This one does not.

If you want the age question answered before you send anything, write info@quranclassusa.com or call or text +1 (380) 206-9388. That is the US office. We would rather tell you to wait a year than book a four-year-old who cannot sit.

A time you are actually home

"After school" is not a time. It is a hope. Write the minute the coat is off. In Columbus, the outerbelt often means that minute is later than the bell. Quran classes in Columbus is the page for that drive: the half hour starts when you are inside, not when the ramp looked clear.

If Tuesday and Thursday are practice, those are not class days. Pretending they are is how the first month dies. Weekend Quran classes are Saturday or Sunday when the school week is already spent. A standing time you cancel every other week will not teach the letters. Name the days you can keep for a month.

Book in your own zone. Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific are not the same 4:30. A family in Texas who picks an Eastern hour will be an hour off and will blame the child for being late.

Qaida is the check for a new reader

A child who knows a short surah by ear and then stops cold on the next printed line is usually missing the letters. More listening will not fix that. Noorani Qaida for kids is the first book: letters, how they join, and the marks on them. Families ask about it for ages about 4 to 10.

A child who already joins letters and knows the short vowels may not need the whole book. Say the age and what they can read, in a sentence, on the form. "Beginner" is not enough. We would rather say Qaida is the wrong start than sell a month of the wrong pages.

Compare the month, after you have seen a class

Look at the price only after the trial has told you the child will sit. Our paid plans are 20 classes a month, 30 minutes each: $45 on the monthly plan, $40 a month billed as $240 every 6 months, or $35 a month billed as $420 for the year. You pay with Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or card. Nothing is due during the three free classes.

A lower price for fifteen children on one camera is not the same purchase. Count the children. Count the minutes. Count whether you can pick the teacher.

What to ignore on a sales page

Ignore a promised week when the book will be done. Children do not move at one speed, and a date on a website is a guess. Ignore a pile of diplomas this site has not shown you. We do not publish staff biographies. Ask who will teach your child when you book.

Ignore a street address as if it were a classroom you can visit. The Cincinnati address on this site is a mailbox. The class is the video call at your table.

Questions before you pick a class

Can I choose a female teacher for my daughter?

Yes. Mark Female on the form. The class is still one child and one teacher, so the other person on the call is the teacher you asked for. That choice does not change the price.

What if my child goes quiet on the first call?

Sit with them. The three trial classes are for finding out whether they will talk once the face is familiar. You do not have to keep the slot after those three.

Do we have to start on a weekday?

No. Most families ask for Monday to Friday. Saturday or Sunday is a full class when that is the day you can actually keep.
