Online Quran classes in Southern California

This page is for Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire counties of Riverside and San Bernardino. A Quran lesson here is 30 minutes on Pacific Time, one teacher with one student, on a video call. Choose a woman or a man. Weeknights are the usual request. A weekend morning is open when practice already has the daylight. The opening three classes are free, and the form does not collect a card.

Many districts inside three regions

Los Angeles Unified covers much of the City of Los Angeles. It does not cover Los Angeles County. Long Beach, Pasadena, Glendale, Torrance, and Santa Monica, among other cities, run their own districts. A charter inside the city can print a different year from the district next door.

Orange County splits the same way. Irvine Unified serves Irvine, on a traditional calendar and a year-round calendar. Anaheim's own city page lists several districts for children who live there, including Anaheim Elementary, the Anaheim Union High School District, and Garden Grove Unified. Garden Grove Unified covers most of Garden Grove and also pieces of Anaheim and other nearby cities. The name on a jersey is not the district.

Riverside County and San Bernardino County are the Inland Empire for this page. Riverside, Corona, Fontana, and Rancho Cucamonga each sit in some local district, not in one county-wide calendar, and not in Los Angeles Unified. All of California stays on Pacific Time. The Sundays when the clocks move are on the Pacific Time page. The other zones are on the class-times hub. The notes below are this southern week.

Quran classes after you park

Some students inside Los Angeles get home on Metro. Metrolink can carry an adult in from San Bernardino, Riverside, or Orange County, and the last stretch is still a car from the station. Irvine, Garden Grove, and most of Anaheim do not have that train at the door. The bell and the arrival are different times. Put the lesson on the clock after the car is parked.

A courtyard apartment in the city, a condo in Irvine, and a house in Riverside each need thirty minutes behind a shut door. Someone else in the home will keep moving. Headphones are the practical tool. If a parent should stay close enough to hear, or the camera should stay off, write info@quranclassusa.com or call or text +1 (380) 206-9388 before the form is sent.

Practice that runs long, a second pickup, or a freeway stall will shove the first time you chose. Say that on the trial when the opening days miss. The standing time can change.

Los Angeles Unified and Irvine, checked

Los Angeles Unified lists Wednesday, August 12, 2026 as the first day of instruction on its 2026–27 instructional calendar, and Friday, June 4, 2027 as the last day. The file is marked board approved on March 11, 2025, and it says the dates still depend on talks about the staff work year. A school that takes Monday, January 11, 2027 as a pupil-free day makes Monday, June 7, 2027 an instructional day instead.

Irvine Unified lists two openings on its district calendar. Year-round students begin Monday, July 20, 2026. Traditional students begin Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Both are listed to finish Friday, June 4, 2027. A campus can still move one grade by a day. That June 4 is not Anaheim's date, and it is not a Riverside or San Bernardino date.

Anaheim, Garden Grove, Long Beach, and the Inland Empire districts each publish their own year. Match the calendar to the school on the enrollment papers. August 12 belongs to Los Angeles Unified. July 20 and August 18 belong to the two Irvine calendars.

A hot August that is already school

Mid-August is not a free month for Los Angeles Unified, and year-round Irvine has been in session since July. A late afternoon in Riverside or San Bernardino is still hot then. A morning, or an evening after the house cools, is the request people can keep. Say which one fits.

Mornings are easier while your own schools are closed. The two calendars above both list June 4 as a last day, which does not make June 4 the last day in Fontana, Garden Grove, or Long Beach. When the next August arrives, move the lesson back to the time that survived the drive, and read that school's new calendar first.

No building on this coast

The teacher does not meet anyone in a room in Los Angeles, Irvine, Anaheim, Riverside, or San Bernardino. There is no local office and no in-person class. Mail for Quran Class USA goes to a mailbox in Cincinnati. That mailbox keeps Eastern Time. It is not a campus and not a desk you visit. Say whether the teacher should be a woman or a man. The number on this site is the US office line.

Pacific Time, one student

A drive in from Irvine, Anaheim, or the Inland Empire sets the hour. It does not pick the book. Beginners spend that half hour inside Noorani Qaida. Readers who need the recitation cleaned up spend it on Tajweed. Before any new lines are added, Hifz review looks only at what was already learned. Choose female or male from our teachers. If practice is running long, see classes for teens. If the afternoon has already vanished, take a weekend class. Those opening three carry no bill.

Free until you decide to stay

Spend the three free classes on a day that includes the real drive or the real train, and notice whether the teacher matches the request. Those three are not billed. You may stop when they are done. If you stay, the fee begins, for 20 classes in the month, weekdays or a weekend day included. Pay with Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or a card.

What changes from county to county

Are Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire on Pacific Time?

Yes. So is the rest of California. A 5:45 p.m. class is 5:45 p.m. in Irvine, in Riverside, and in the city. The March and November clock changes are on the Pacific Time page.

Does the Los Angeles Unified calendar cover Irvine, Anaheim, or Riverside?

No. LAUSD lists Wednesday, August 12, 2026 as the first day of instruction and Friday, June 4, 2027 as the last day, with a note that a school taking January 11 off instead teaches on June 7. Irvine Unified lists year-round students from Monday, July 20, 2026, and traditional students from Tuesday, August 18, 2026, both finishing Friday, June 4, 2027 on the district file. Anaheim is several districts. Riverside County and San Bernardino County are many more. Use the district on the enrollment papers.

Traffic ate the first half hour. When does class start?

When the car is parked and someone can sit. Metro may be the delay inside Los Angeles. From Riverside, San Bernardino, Anaheim, or Irvine it is usually a car, sometimes after a Metrolink train. If 5:45 p.m. is still the freeway during the trial, pick a later standing time.

The only quiet spot is a bedroom. Is that enough?

Yes, for 30 minutes, with the door shut. Headphones help when a sibling is home. We are not promising the apartment or the house goes quiet. Ask first if a parent should stay within earshot or the camera should stay off.

Can we come to a classroom in Southern California?

No. The student stays home. The teacher is on the video call, one student at a time. There is no office in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, or San Bernardino County. Mail goes to a mailbox in Cincinnati, which is on Eastern Time. +1 (380) 206-9388 is the US office line.

Irvine starts in July for some students. Which date do we use?

The date for that student's school. Year-round Irvine students are listed from July 20. Traditional Irvine students are listed from August 18. A campus can still shift one grade by a day. LAUSD's August 12 is a different district. Anaheim, Garden Grove, and the Inland Empire print their own years.

Can a parent stay nearby, and does the camera stay on?

Ask before you send the form. Email info@quranclassusa.com or call or text +1 (380) 206-9388 and describe the room. We answer for that teacher. This page does not publish a camera rule.

How do I pay?

After the free 3-day trial, if you decide to continue, pay with Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or card via Stripe. Nothing is due during the trial, and no card is required to start.
