Online Quran classes in Atlanta

The City of Atlanta, Gwinnett County, Cobb County, and DeKalb County share an Eastern clock. They do not share one school district. A Quran lesson is 30 minutes on a video call, one teacher and one student. Choose a woman or a man. Weekdays after the ride are the usual request. Saturday or Sunday is open when a practice or a shift already has the afternoon. Three classes come first, free, and no card is taken.

The county on the envelope is not the district

The City of Atlanta sits in both Fulton County and DeKalb County. Atlanta Public Schools is the district for that city, on either side of the county line. Fulton County Schools is a different district, for Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, and other Fulton places outside the city.

Gwinnett County Public Schools includes Lawrenceville, Duluth, and Norcross. The City of Buford has its own schools and is not that calendar. Cobb County School District covers most of Cobb. The City of Marietta does not; Marietta City Schools is its own division. In DeKalb, Clarkston is in the county district. City Schools of Decatur covers the City of Decatur only. A street that says Decatur on the mail can sit outside those city limits and belong to DeKalb County schools instead.

Every part of Georgia stays on Eastern Time. November and March change the daylight, and those Sundays are on the Eastern Time page. The other zones are on the class-times hub. Same hour, another state: Quran classes in Northern Virginia. Pacific notes: Quran classes in Southern California. The week below is Atlanta's.

Quran classes after MARTA or the car

Inside the city the slow stretch is often MARTA, a train or a bus. Rail reaches Decatur and a few other DeKalb stations. It does not reach Lawrenceville, Duluth, Norcross, or Cobb. Those afternoons are a car, and the car is often still on the road at the minute a login was supposed to start. Clarkston may be a county bus or that same car. Put the class at the time someone can sit, which is later than the bell.

A bungalow in the city, an apartment in Clarkston, and a subdivision house in Duluth need the same thirty minutes. Cooking may be happening in the next room, or in the same one. Headphones earn their keep. If a parent should stay close enough to hear, or the camera should stay off, write info@quranclassusa.com or call or text +1 (380) 206-9388 before you send the form.

A second pickup, a practice that runs late, or a parent stuck in the same traffic will shove the first time you wrote down. Note it on the trial when the opening days slip. The standing time can move.

Two start dates, two districts

Atlanta Public Schools prints the 2026–27 year in its student handbook. The first day is Monday, August 3, 2026. The last day is Thursday, May 27, 2027.

Gwinnett County Public Schools approved a different file. Students return Wednesday, August 5, 2026, which the district also announced ahead of that day. The last day on the calendar is Wednesday, May 26, 2027. That file says weather days can be made up with a digital learning day or by extending the year, so May 26 is the listed end, not a promise against ice.

Cobb, DeKalb County, the City of Decatur, Marietta, Buford, and Fulton County Schools outside the city each publish their own year. A charter can differ from the district around it. Read the name on the report card. August 3 is the City of Atlanta. August 5 is Gwinnett. Clarkston and Marietta are not either of those by default.

Late May, then a long hot stretch

On the two calendars above, school is already out in the last week of May. June is a no-bell month for those districts, and the afternoons are hot. A morning is the easier request while your own schools are closed. Cobb, DeKalb, Decatur, and Marietta may still be in session that week, or they may have finished earlier. When August returns, move the lesson back to the slot that survived the drive, and read the new calendar before you promise the first week.

Winter gets dark before dinner, and an ice day can wipe out both the drive and the school day. Move that one class. Keep the rest of the month.

Nothing to drive to

You do not come to a room in Midtown, Duluth, Marietta, or Clarkston for this lesson. There is no local office and no in-person class. Mail for Quran Class USA goes to a mailbox in Cincinnati. That mailbox is not a campus and not a desk you visit. Say whether the teacher should be a woman or a man. The number on this site is the US office line.

One page after the car stops

MARTA or a Gwinnett drive decides when you sit down, not which book is open. Beginners use Noorani Qaida. Students past the alphabet spend the sitting on Tajweed. If the goal is memorization, Hifz is a look at yesterday's lines and nothing piled on top. Our teachers can be female or male. Those first three classes are not billed. When practice owns the afternoon, read classes for teens or move the day to weekend classes.

After the Perimeter, the book is the point

Inside I-285, along Buford Highway, up GA-400, or out I-75 and I-85, the ride only sets the clock. A Duluth kitchen after homework, a Clarkston apartment once the coats are off, and a city bungalow after MARTA all open the same kind of page. A child still joining letters stays in Qaida. A child who can sound out a fresh line gets one tajweed correction. A student who already holds pages reviews those pages, and then the call ends.

A parent whose shift ends after maghrib often protects Sunday morning instead of forcing a weeknight. A Gwinnett elementary bus that runs late on a wet day moves the call later that afternoon. It does not move the child to another building. Quran classes for kids is the shorter sitting for ages about four to seven. The whole path, from the first book through reading and memorization, is an online Quran school for kids.

Families still comparing a Saturday hall with a call from the house can read online or local Quran classes. The checks before you commit a younger child, including a trial that does not take a card, are in how to choose online Quran classes for kids.

Pay when the month is one you are keeping

Use the three free classes on a day that still has MARTA or the Gwinnett drive in it, and see whether the teacher matches the request. Those three are not billed. You can stop there. Continuing is when the fee begins, for 20 classes across the month, weekdays or a weekend day included. Pay by Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or card.

Before you lock a weekday

Is the Atlanta area on Eastern Time?

Yes. The city, Gwinnett, Cobb, DeKalb, and the rest of Georgia use Eastern Time. A 4:40 p.m. class is 4:40 p.m. in Duluth and in the city. November and March daylight changes are on the Eastern Time page.

Does the Atlanta Public Schools calendar cover Gwinnett, Cobb, or Clarkston?

No. The 2026–27 handbook lists Monday, August 3, 2026 as the first day and Thursday, May 27, 2027 as the last day for Atlanta Public Schools, which is the City of Atlanta. Gwinnett County Public Schools lists Wednesday, August 5, 2026 through Wednesday, May 26, 2027. Cobb, DeKalb County, the City of Decatur, Marietta, and Buford each use another calendar. A Decatur mailing address is not automatically City Schools of Decatur.

The drive or MARTA ran long. When does the lesson start?

When someone can sit down at home. MARTA may be the delay inside the city. From Lawrenceville, Duluth, Norcross, or Cobb the delay is usually a car. If 4:40 p.m. is still the road during the trial, move the standing time later.

Dinner is in the same room as the laptop. Is that a problem?

Thirty minutes after the plates are done is easier than thirty minutes in the middle of cooking. Headphones help. We are not promising a silent apartment or a silent subdivision house. Ask first if a parent should stay close enough to hear, or if the camera should stay off.

Is there a class I can drive to in Atlanta?

No. The student stays home. The teacher is on the video call, one student at a time. There is no office in the city, in Gwinnett, in Cobb, or in DeKalb, and no room to show up at. Mail goes to a mailbox in Cincinnati. +1 (380) 206-9388 is the US office line.

Gwinnett and Atlanta finish a day apart. Which date is ours?

The date printed by your own district. Gwinnett's listed last day is Wednesday, May 26, 2027, and that file says weather can extend the year. Atlanta Public Schools lists Thursday, May 27, 2027. Cobb, DeKalb, Decatur, and Marietta may match neither. June is already out of school on the two calendars we checked, which is not a reason to assume the others.

What does an Atlanta child study in the half hour?

The book that matches them. Letters, if a new line still stops them. One tajweed correction, if they can already read a line they have not memorized. A short review of pages they already hold, if memorization is the plan. It is 30 minutes with one of our teachers. There is no classroom to drive to.

Can we use Saturday when weeknights die on the Perimeter?

Yes. You choose the days, including Saturday or Sunday. Our teachers meet students on all seven days, at an hour you can keep on Eastern Time. The lesson is the same length as a weeknight.

Can a parent stay nearby, and does the camera stay on?

Ask before the form goes in. Email info@quranclassusa.com or call or text +1 (380) 206-9388 and describe the room. We answer for that teacher. This page does not set a camera rule.

How do I pay?

After the free 3-day trial, if you decide to continue, pay with Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or card via Stripe. Nothing is due during the trial, and no card is required to start.
