Quran classes on Pacific Time, including after practice

Yes. Families on Pacific Time can book a live one-on-one Quran class, 30 minutes, in the late afternoon or evening on their own clock. Classes run Monday to Friday, and weekend classes are available. The first 3 days are free, with no card, and you can choose a qualified male or female teacher.

The useful fact on this coast is not a slogan about "flexible timing." It is that a 5:30 p.m. class in Seattle, Portland, the Bay Area, Las Vegas, or anywhere else on Pacific Time is three hours behind the same minute on the East Coast. We still book the minute you live in. You do not convert, and you do not stay up so a schedule looks tidy somewhere else.

Afternoon light lasts, and practice uses it

From April through early fall, a Pacific afternoon stays bright late. Schools often dismiss between about 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. That looks like a wide gap. Then practice, a tutor, or a long ride home eats it. The class that survives is the one placed after the activity that actually happens, not after the bell on the district website.

In winter the same 5:00 p.m. slot is dark, especially in western Washington and Oregon, where rain keeps everyone inside. A kitchen-table class is easier in January than a drive to a weekend hall. That is a scheduling point, not a claim that online is always better than a local program.

Request windows on the Pacific clock

What the family calls it Pacific time Watch-out
Right after the last bell 3:00–4:15 p.m. Only if there is no practice and the student is already home
After practice 5:30–6:30 p.m. Leave ten minutes between the field and the laptop
After a Pacific dinner 7:00–8:30 p.m. Better for teens and adults than for a six-year-old
Saturday, before the game 8:30–10:00 a.m. See the weekend page if this is the only reliable day

These windows are what families ask for. They are not a promise that a named teacher is free at 5:30 this week. The trial is where that gets confirmed. Read weekend classes if Saturday is the anchor and weekdays are the backup.

A sample week built around a high school sport

A sophomore has practice at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and games that start near 4:30 on Friday in the fall. The Quran class sits at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday when practice is off, and at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday so Friday does not become a fight. Five days, 30 minutes, and the game is not the thing that gets cancelled.

A younger sibling who is done at 2:40 p.m. should not share that 6:15 slot. Book the younger child at 3:30 p.m. on the same days, back to back with nothing, or on a different pair of days if one device is all the house has. Say that in the note. Two students means two classes, not one shared call.

Who is on this clock

California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada are the Pacific states for almost every household. Malheur County in Oregon stays on Mountain Time. If your phone shows Mountain Time rather than Pacific Time, use the Mountain Time page instead of forcing this one. Northern Idaho is Pacific; southern Idaho is Mountain. The form lets you pick the zone separately from the state so a border county is not boxed in.

We do not publish a city-by-city grid for this coast. The clock is shared. What changes is dismissal, traffic, and whether practice is outdoors in June. Those belong in your note, not in a list of city names.

Spring forward on a dark morning

Pacific Time springs forward on Sunday, March 14, 2027, and falls back on Sunday, November 1, 2026, the same federal weekends as the rest of the continental United States. A 6:00 p.m. class remains 6:00 p.m. The jolt is a morning class: the Monday after the spring change, a 7:00 a.m. slot feels like 6:00. If you use an early window, plan to feel that Monday and tell us if you want to pause it for a week. We will not move the series an hour unless you ask.

A male or female teacher on a one-on-one call

Mark Female or Male on the teacher line. Qualified teachers of both are available, at the same price. Keep the call one-on-one and 30 minutes, and keep a parent nearby for a child. The Pacific evening is a normal time for that. Weekend classes are available too, if a weekday evening is not.

The Pacific clock uses the same US prices

$45/month on the monthly plan, $40/month on the 6-month plan ($240), or $35/month on the yearly plan ($420). Each is 20 one-on-one 30-minute classes a month, Monday to Friday, with weekend classes available. Start with a free 3-day trial. No payment and no card are required. You pay only if you decide to continue.

Monthly

$45 a month

Pay each month after the free 3-day trial, and only if you decide to continue. Same 20 classes.

6 months

$40 a month

Billed as $240 every 6 months. That is $5 less a month than paying monthly.

Yearly

$35 a month

Billed as $420 a year. The lowest monthly rate of the three plans.

Questions families ask

Do you schedule on Pacific Time or on a teacher's clock?

On yours. If you ask for 5:30 p.m. Pacific, the invite says 5:30 p.m. Pacific. You should not have to convert from another coast.

Is 5:30 p.m. realistic after sports practice?

Often, if practice ends by 5:00 and the student can be at a laptop by 5:25. If practice runs until 6:00 in the spring, pick a 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. slot instead of hoping practice ends early.

Which states use this page?

Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and California use Pacific Time for almost everyone. A small part of Oregon near the Idaho line, Malheur County, uses Mountain Time. Northern Idaho is Pacific; the rest of Idaho is on the Mountain page.

Can a teenager keep five short classes and a sport?

Yes, if four of them are 30 minutes and one of them moves to Sunday when the weekday game runs long. The paid plan is still 20 classes a month. Missing the standing time every game day is how plans fall apart.
