Online Quran classes for adults and reverts starting from zero

A lot of adults in the United States can pray because someone showed them, and then freeze when the mushaf is open. This class is for that person. It is one adult and one of our teachers, 30 minutes, starting from the letters if that is where you are. The first three meetings are free, and the form does not take a card.

You are not auditing your child's lesson

Parents sometimes sit in on Quran classes for kids and hope they will absorb the page. That is a kind thing to do for a four- to seven-year-old. It is a poor way for you to learn to read. Your lesson is a separate call. Your child is not the audience, and you are not the audience for theirs. If you share one laptop, book the calls back to back and mark both people on the free trial form.

A woman who wants her own half hour, including a revert, can also read Quran classes for sisters. A man books the same length and chooses a male or female teacher the same way. Neither of you has to explain your story to a room.

Zero means the letters, even if salah is familiar

If you memorized a short surah by ear and cannot sound out the next line, the start is Noorani Qaida, the same first book children use, in an adult's slot. The name of the book is not an insult. It is the page with the letters, the joins, and the marks. The teacher stays on the letter in front of you. You are not skipped ahead so the hour feels more advanced.

Say what you can already do, in your own words. "I pray but I cannot read" is enough. "I read slowly and mix two letters" is a different start. We will not invent a level from a label. If the letters are already steady and you want one sound cleaned up, say that too. Tajweed can wait until the print is something you can follow.

What the half hour feels like

You set a laptop on a desk after work. The teacher says salam. If this is the first meeting, they begin with letters you can already say, which may be none. That is a starting point. Then one new thing: a letter you mix with its neighbor, or a vowel you have been skipping. You say it. They say it back. The last minutes are the line to practice, spoken out loud so you are not hunting for it in a message later.

Thirty minutes is the whole class. An adult does not get a longer lecture because they are an adult. One correction you can repeat tomorrow beats a list you will forget on the drive. If a baby is in the room and starts to cry, the new piece stops. Tell us that on the form if a nap is the only quiet window.

After a Northern Virginia commute

Fairfax, Loudoun, and Arlington do not let people out at the same minute. A Silver Line ride or a slow drive from Leesburg can eat the first part of the evening. The class starts when you are home, not when the office calendar said you would be. Quran classes in Northern Virginia is that clock. If the trial shows you are still in the car at the agreed time, move it. A weekend morning is allowed when the weekdays belong to work. Weekend Quran classes are the same 30 minutes.

Choosing the teacher, and the camera

Mark Female, Male, or Either. The person who joins is the one you asked for from our teachers. You do not have to perform for anyone else. Practice, without turning it into homework you invent

Between classes, repeat the line that was named. Ten quiet minutes is enough. Do not add a second surah because a friend finished faster, and do not compare your page to a child who has heard these letters since kindergarten. If you miss a day, say so. The next call should start from the same line, not from a new one you have not earned.

An adult who feels embarrassed on day one is still in the right room. The trial is three meetings so that feeling can change, or so you can stop if it does not. Nobody else from your house has to be on the camera unless you want them there.
